The Holland BPW identified the need to upgrade the plant to handle increased organic loading and solids generated by the primary and secondary treatment processes and improve odor abatement.
The City of St. Joseph constructed a Lake Michigan intake and shorewell pumping station to provide additional capacity and reliability to the raw water supply, which serves over 38,000 residents in six communities.
The City received funding for a new water system as a part of a Superfund lawsuit with the EPA. Fishbeck was retained to provide professional services for the planning and design and construction of the system.
The Frances Park Pump Station sits adjacent to the Grand River, and the station is a cast-in-place structure with a dual-chamber wet well and five existing pumps, three wet weather pumps, and two dry weather pumps.
A pork processing facility was interested in locating a new facility in or around the City of Coldwater. Fishbeck worked with the City from project inception, including the completion of an estimate.
