Fishbeck installed and maintained six flow monitors within the Nine Mile WWTP basin using the County’s existing sanitary hydraulic model. Recommendations for improvement included interceptor improvements and I/I reduction. The County retained Fishbeck to provide detailed design phase services for the improvements. The sewer improvements consisted of 4,139 lf of 21-inch sanitary sewer to replace the existing sanitary sewer using three stream crossings and jack and bore construction for one of them. Currently, the design is 90% complete and OEPA Permit-to-Install has been approved. The County is in the process of acquiring the required easements for the project. When the necessary easements have been acquired, the project design will be completed and the County will move forward with bidding and construction for the project.
