A pork processing facility was interested in locating a new facility in or around the City of Coldwater. Fishbeck worked with the City from project inception, including the completion of a study to estimate the infrastructure required to accommodate the facility and the costs associated with those improvements. Fishbeck helped the City apply for grants from the MEDC and MDOT to conduct road and utility improvements to the proposed site, northeast of the City.
Fishbeck assisted with grant implementation and performed full design services for the water, sewer, and road portions of the project. The project also included reconstructing four City roads, including reconstruction of the water main, storm, and sanitary sewer requiring replacement. Fishbeck also assisted with additional improvements included a booster station, electrical substation and a WWTP expansion.
