In response to a national and regional growing need to address heart disease MidMichigan Health (MMH) applied funding to create a premier heart and vascular center that offers world-class clinical care in a patient and family-friendly environment. The new cardiovascular center replaces the 1940s era hospital and consolidate clinical departments, including a cardiac diagnostic suite, multiple cardiac clinics, patient outreach laboratory, radiology, and vascular clinic.
Fishbeck provided technical architecture support for the development of the 160,000-sf building and full structural engineering design through construction administration services. Fishbeck complemented the team led by Three Rivers Design & Construction with Hord Coplan Macht as the lead design firm.
