Fishbeck performed design and survey services for inlay rehabilitation of 3.2 miles of M-6 in Kent County. Designed as an Alternate Bid for both concrete and HMA pavement, the project was expedited to advance the construction season by one year due to the rapidly deteriorating pavement. The project team performed a comprehensive review of geometric elements. Improvements were made to superelevation, vertical clearance, and drainage. A maintaining traffic plan was developed for freeway closure.
