Wolverine Power retained Fishbeck to develop and secure an air quality permit‐to‐install to build a new, gas‐fired 400MW simple‐cycle electrical generation facility west of the City of Gaylord, in Elmira Township. The final permit‐to‐install was issued in May 2015, less than six months after the application was submitted to the EGLE AQD.
The air permitting process included a detailed emissions control review and a complex ambient impact analysis. The project also underwent a voluntary 30‐day public comment period prior to final issuance of the permit.
