The Fishbeck team performed full construction engineering for the I-75 and University Drive interchange, including concrete reconstruction of all interchange ramps, bridge replacement, MSE wall construction with stone pattern decorative feature, water main replacement, new signals and lighting, sidewalk improvements, concrete surface coating, extensive landscaping, an 18- by 30-foot sign, decorative fence, bridge lighting, traffic signal mast arms, truss and cantilever sign construction, Dynamic Message Sign relocation, and reconstruction of one mile of University Drive. The newly constructed interchange is the first Diverging Diamond Interchange opened in Michigan. The project utilized e-signatures and was managed using a Sharefile project management site for sharing and distribution of project documents and submittals.
