As a well-known name in the vehicle rental industry, Hertz Corporation saw many opportunities to upgrade and expand their customer service brand image in multiple airport locations. Fishbeck provided design and construction documents for municipal and site engineering aspects of the Hertz allocations within their respective airports. An entirely new customer service experience was created with the Hertz construction team, providing a fast track through the rollout process. A new signage program for the facilities provided efficient vehicle circulation and pedestrian safety, including the Hertz Ultimate Choice Program. Layout of ready parking, return parking, exit plaza, customer service facilities, and back-office areas were all conceptualized for locations at the Eppley, Tampa International, and Paramus Airports. In addition, a uniquely designed vehicle maintenance facility was conceived at the Calgary International Airport, offering continuous operations in extreme weather conditions, including indoor vacuum/drying stations owned by the Calgary International Airport Authority.
