Fishbeck developed and populated a GIS database for the City’s water distribution system. A program was developed to allow City staff to GPS-locate curb stop valves throughout the City using Eos Arrow Gold units connected to the MDOT CORS system. Attributes were populated with detailed information from record drawings and field inspections. Historic water service record cards were attached for quick access from the field. Field crews were trained to use Esri Collector and Survey 123 Apps to complete water service line inspections at properties throughout the City. Web-based dashboards are used to track the progress of water service line replacements.
