Butler County | Port Union/Lesaint Sanitary Sewer Improvements Design

Completed in 2021, Fishbeck designed improvements to 3,300 lf of existing 8-inch sanitary sewer and 10 manholes located between 4075 Port Union Road and the Port Union Road/LeSaint Drive intersection in Fairfield Ohio. Based on video inspection of the existing sanitary sewer, it was determined a combination of CIPP lining and pipe bursting replacements would be necessary. Fishbeck was able to revise this design upon the determination by Butler County Water and Sewer that the existing sewer was undersized. Revision consisted of pipe bursting the entire project length and increasing the size of the sewer from 8 to 12 inches to meet the future flow capacity requirements.
