Conceptual design development for a reverse osmosis membrane softening system (RO system) in 2017 for the City of Harrison’s WTP due to historical hard iron water damage to the infrastructure. Revolving loans were obtained from the Ohio EPA for system design and construction in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Featuring primary design of chemical feed systems, three RO membrane arrays with space for a fourth array, a diesel generator to power the RO, stormwater runoff collection and containment, among others; construction began in October 2020 and completed within an 18-month time frame.
