Ann Arbor has grown dramatically over the past few decades. As surface parking lots have been developed into new commercial and residential space, the City’s eight parking structures have taken on heightened importance as vital parking infrastructure. The parking facilities are heavily used and as they age require regular maintenance. Fishbeck staff has developed 20-year asset management plans, along with annual construction documents and oversight. Projects have included fall protection, lighting enhancements, new elevators and stairwells, ADA assessments, and concrete and steel repair.
