​“Known now as Windward Pointe, the 120-acre site on the south shore of Muskegon Lake has been cleared of buildings and is in the process of environmental cleanup. Last summer, a possible mixed-use development plan for the waterfront site was developed after a series of community planning sessions.”

Trio of Muskegon projects split $3M in state brownfield funding

Photo Credit: Adelaide Pointe Three large-scale Muskegon projects that are expected to create more than 700 housing units have secured $3 million in state brownfield funding. The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) announced today that it awarded the brownfield redevelopment funding to Adelaide Pointe, the former Shaw Walker building, and the Harbor 31 project.
